The Spongia Officinalis can reproduce itself, either sexually or asexually via budding. Young Spongia Officials come in the form of larve, and for the next 40 years, they will grow to be the size or a baseball. They do this by attaching themselves to the sea floor. The circulation happens through water once again due to the fact it contains no blood. Like the others, the water flows through the pores giving the sponge energy.
